Annette Sauermann

Annette Sauermann ranks among Germany’s most significant contemporary light artists. For many years, she has been developing a distinctive artistic language in which light serves not merely as a medium, but as a formative material. She gained particular renown for her self-illuminating wall works crafted from acrylic glass, as well as for numerous large-scale projects in the public realm that impressively fuse architecture and atmosphere.
