More than 25 years of Obrist Gallery
Founded in 2000 by art historian Torsten Obrist, Galerie Obrist is today recognized as an innovative exhibition space and ranks among the leading galleries for contemporary art in the Ruhr region.
Central to the gallery’s work is a direct and long-term collaboration with its artists—manifested through continuous group and solo exhibitions, the publication of catalogs and books, and participation in both national and international art fairs. The gallery is a regular exhibitor at fairs in Germany, Switzerland, and worldwide.
