Moltkeplatz sculpture meadow, Essen.
Emil Walde was invited by the initiative Kunst am Moltkeplatz KaM e.V. to create a temporary project on the sculpture meadow at Moltkeplatz in Essen. “SHELTER” will now be shown there for one year. It is the tenth work in the series “Young Art at Moltkeplatz”, which was founded in 2010 – in the year of the Cultural Capital RUHR.2010 – by the association KaM e.V. The series has been curated since 2018 by Dr. Anna Fricke, curator of contemporary art at the Museum Folkwang.
