Die Ausstellung knüpft an unsere letztjährige Ausstellung mit Maron an, und zeigt den heutigen
Entwicklungsstand der seit 1980 entstehenden “Bilder über Landschaften”. Wir zeigen fast ausschließlich Arbeiten, die in 2003 entstanden sind
Maron arbeitet mit dem Numinosen. Seine Arbeiten stellen durch
unsere Erinnerungen im Kollektiv-Kognitiven neue Bezüge zum Heiligen und Profanen, zur Fragmentierung der Welt, der Kunst und Kultur, zu Bildern über Landschaften, zu Tieren, Menschen und Dingen her. Damit
prägen sie eine neue Sicht in unserer Welt der Bilder, und sprechen vom Unbehagen gegenüber Bildern in unserer von Bildern beherrschten Kultur.
The exhibition is strongly connected to our last year’s exhibition, and shows the current developement of the “Pictures on landscapes”, which
steadily appear since 1980. We mainly show works from the year 2003.
Maron works with the “numinous”. Through our memories in the collective-cognitive his pictures create new relations to the sacred and
the profane, to the fragmentarism of the world, to art and culture, to pictures on landscapes, to animals, people and things. That way they create a new view in our world of pictures, and talk about the
uneasiness in relation to pictures in our picture ruled culture.
